Lauren Leb

A native of Colleyville, Texas, Lauren Leb began her ballet training at the Marina Almayeva School of Classical Ballet. She studied there for 8 years and received top honors in several competitions, including YAGP. Following this, she continued her training at The HARID Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida, on a full tuition scholarship and was the recipient of the HARID Dance Study Award from 2016-2018. While at HARID, she performed in many exciting roles including Sugar Plum Fairy & Lead Flower in The Nutcracker, Black Swan in Swan Lake, Medora in Le Corsaire, and Kitri in Don Quixote. Lauren also received a full scholarship to Texas Ballet Theater’s Summer Intensive during the 2019 ADC/IBC competition. Following her graduation from HARID, she then joined TBT’s Studio Training Company for the 2019-2020 season and danced with the Main Company from 2020-2023 under the direction of Ben Stevenson, OBE. While with Texas Ballet Theater, she performed in many prestigious ballets such as Ben Stevenson’s The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Alice in Wonderland, Tim O’Keefe’s Violin Concerto in D, and George Balanchine’s Serenade. She has also performed as a guest artist with the Naples Ballet in the role of Snow Queen for their production of The Nutcracker, as well as with Pegasus Contemporary Ballet in Bruce McCormick’s debut of SUITE, which was performed in an art gallery with a live cellist. Lauren then joined the faculty at the Marina Almayeva School of Classical Ballet as an instructor for the 2023-2024 season, and now serves as an instructor at Suzanne’s School of Dance and The Ballet Academy.
