Sara Dowd has been dancing or teaching ballet for the majority of her life, most recently as a ballet instructor at Suzanne’s School of Dance’s “The Ballet Academy” (TBA).  She has danced just about every role in "The Nutcracker" (from the Mouse King to the Sugar Plum Fairy) and has served as a rehearsal mistress for Ballet Brazos in their production since 2024.  Besides ballet, Dr. Dowd is passionate about serving humanity via the arts, sciences, and humanities; she teaches psychology at Texas A&M University.
