The Nutcracker
Come travel to the Land of the Sweets and let us show you the ballet world's time-honored holiday event that delights audiences of all ages. A cherished Brazos Valley tradition since 2012, our 2026 production of The Nutcracker this December 4-5 marks a dazzling 15th Anniversary Season.
Thanks to your generous support, we are again delighted to offer the extraordinary experience of live music by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra at every performance.
This anniversary production will showcase acclaimed guest artists from the New York City Ballet as our Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier, alongside a vibrant cast of professional dancers, distinguished guest artists from across Texas, and talented pre-professional performers from the Brazos Valley.
The celebration extends far beyond the stage. Exciting 15th Anniversary Nutcracker experiences await throughout the year, culminating in our gorgeous production of The Nutcracker December 4-5. Our pre-show events include Photos with Clara, Red Carpet Photo Area, live holiday music played by string ensembles, and our Nutcracker Market.
We invite you to join us in celebrating 15 seasons of magic, tradition, and community. Join us at our events throughout the year, secure your tickets early, and make The Nutcracker part of your holiday season!

Musical Artists:
The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra
Over the years, Ballet Brazos has dared to dream big so we could bring quality classical ballet to the Brazos Valley. We grew to include guest artists from the New York City Ballet, to create lush scenery and elaborate costumes, to increase the quality of our performances, and to add new elements to the Nutcracker experience each year. Ballet Brazos set a goal from the early years to have a live symphony orchestra provide the music for our Nutcracker Ballet as another beautiful touch to further elevate our Nutcracker experience. This year, thanks to your generous support, we are again delighted to offer the extraordinary experience of live music by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra at every performance this 15th Anniversary Season!
